While studying the Fall this week, I have learned a lot from
this President Benson quote: "[Man] does not desire the salvation of
Christ until he knows why he needs Christ… No one adequately and properly knows
why he needs Christ until he understands and accepts the doctrine of the Fall
and its affects upon all mankind."
As difficult as they have been, I am grateful for trials and
hardships in my life because they have taught me how much I need Christ. And
the more I realize about my weaknesses, the more I learn how much I really do
need Him.
